제목 | Effects of Oligomer Functionality on Transmission Holographic PDLC |
초록 | We studied the effects of polyurethane acrylate(PUA) oligomer functionality on transmission Holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal(HPDLC). PUA oligomer functionality was controlled by varying the soft segment type. Bifunctional polypropylene glycol and trifunctional polyglycerol were used as soft segments to control the functionality of oligomer. Better functionality of oligomer gave effective LC phase separation due to highly crosslinked polymer netwoks. Also, enhanced LC phase separation led to neat grating formation and high diffraction efficiency. The morphology of holographic gratings was analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM). |
