제목 Effect of Spinning Variables on Morphology of Electrospun Fibers
초록 Electrospinning is not a new technology for polymer fiber production. It has been known since the 1930's; however, it did not gain significant industrial importance due to the low output of the process, inconsistent and low molecular orientation, poor mechanical properties and high diameter distribution of the electrospun fibers.
In this study, the effect of spinning variables on the morphology of electrospun fibers was studied. The variables are the electric field strength, flow rate and viscosity of polymer solution. The morphological characteristics of fibers were investigated by a scanning electron microscope.
