Polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) are promising for fabricating the flexible and large-area applications such as display and solid-state lighting. Flexible and transparent electrodes are key components in the flexible and large-area PLEDs. The widely used transparent electrodes (indium tin oxide (ITO)) has disadvantages which are brittleness and low conductivity on the flexible substrate, therefore, the new electrodes is necessary. Thus, we fabricated flexible and large-area ultra-thin metal electrodes with uniformity, high transparency and low sheet resistance on the flexible substrate. Also, we fabricated white PLEDs with our new electrodes as applications of our electrodes by using printing methods which are possible the solution processes and able to fabricate large-area electronics. |
