Since their earliest synthesis, much interest has arisen in the application of conjugated polymers (CPs) as electron-donors or hole conductors. CPs could be processed into nanoparticles or nanopatterned thin films, which showed a high photon to heat energy conversion. On the other hands, CPs could be formed inside nanophases, of which size are critical for the final property of CPs. This method was applied to the preparation of a CP based dye sensitized solar cell, which improved electrode/HTM interfacial properties originated from the close contact between the electrode and HTM. In this talk we report formation, characterization, and application potential of CP nanostructures. |
