제목 Curing of Dendritic-Linear Block Copolymers toward Robust Polymer Self-Assembly
초록 Our group published noble polymer self-assembled structures named colloidal inverse bicontinuous cubic membranes of block copolymers, so-called polymer cubosomes. Similar with conventional polymer self-assembled structures, polymer cubosomes are only usable in aqueous media. In order to utilize the polymer cubosomes and other self-assembled structures in non-aqueous environment, we designed cross-linkable dendritic linear polyethylene glycol-block-poly(styrene-ran-(4-vinylphenyl)indene) (PEG-b-P(St-ran-SI)) toward robust polymer self-assembled structures. When our polymer systems were exposed UV light around 365 nm, they would be cross-linked because of photo-dimerization effect of indene. We synthesized dendritic-linear block copolymers containing varied indene proportions to find out polymer cubosome and other self-assembled structures which can endure common organic solvents such as tetrahydrofuran (THF) and chloroform.
