We report the self-assembled polyaniline nanostructures depending on the oxidative polymerization time of aniline monomer in aqueous medium. The morphology of the resulting polyaniline nanostructures was greatly affected by the morphology of aniline oligomers formed in the initial polymerization step according to the changes of polymerization condition (e. g. pH, monomer concentration etc). In order to confirm the morphological changes of polyaniline, the synthetic time-resolved polyaniline nanostructures were verified by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and optical microscopy. The crystal structures of the sample were checked by wide angle X-ray diffraction and IR spectra. |
