TPU/TPO Blends Compatibilized with a PolyolefinicSegment in TPU |
| 초록 |
The effect of incorporating a hydrogenated polybutadiene segment (HPB) in thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) on the compatibility of TPU with thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer (TPO) was examined. As the content of HPB present in TPUs was increased the particle size of the dispersed phase in the TPU/TPO blends, as observed by scanning electron microscopy, decreased due to the compatibilizing effect of HPB. Crystallization behaviors, tensile properties, and rheological properties of the blend also supported that HPB present in TPUs enhanced the compatibility between TPU and TPO. |
