The hydrogel has been studied for various applications. In this study, we present engineered extracellular matrix consisting of two different layers with significantly different expansion ratio in response of the environments. This multi-layered extracellular matrix was prepared by assembling a bi-layered hydrogel, in which each layer consisted of poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) with different molecular weights and their concentrations. And, tumor cell cluster was stimulated multi-layered matrix coated cell adhesion molecules. This study examines the effects of the engineered extracellular matrix on stimulating and regulating tumor cell cluster of the morphology, growth rates, and proangiogenic growth factor production. |
