As increasing attention on importance of organic-inorganic hybrid composites, studies on fabrication of hybrid materials have been actively investigated for applying it to various fields. In particular, composite for heat resistance materials has attracted much attention because the thermal properties can be easily adjusted by controlling inorganic contents in the composite. In this study, poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate/silica (PEGDA/silica) hybrid materials was manufactured by sol-gel process. The composite which have high transmittance and heat resistance properties was fabricated through controlling ratio of PEGDA and Tetraethyl orthosilicate. PEGDA/silica hybrid composites are characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy. The simplified thermal resistance test with model system is also carried out. |
