Fibrous hydrocolloid containing dextran-loaded CMC particles via colloid electrospinning for wound dressing |
초록 |
The aim of this study was to prepared fiber-based hydrocolloid mats for controlled drug release as a potential application in wound dressing. Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (S.CMC) particle was synthesized via inverse micelle microemulsion polymerization using divinyl sulfone (DVS) as crosslinking agent and FITC tagged Dextran as model-drug was loaded into S.CMC particles. Fiber-based hydrocolloid mats containing Dextran-loaded particles were prepared by colloidal electrospinning of thermal polyurethane (TPU) solution containing Dextran-S.CMC particle. The morphology of TPU microfibers as function of hydrocolloid contents were systematically investigated in order to explore optimized electrospinning condition. Drug release profile of hydrocolloid mats was also evaluated by tracing release of FITC-dextran. The results suggest that these fiber based hydrocolloids loaded with drugs can be applied in wound dressing. |
