제목 New crosslinkable PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer as highly ion conductive and water soluble binder for carbon electrode manufacture
초록 New crosslinkable PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymers (cPTs) were prepared and utilized as water soluble binder for the fabrication of carbon electrodes. The electrochemical performances of carbon electrode based on cPT binders were investigated and compared with the conventional binder materials such as water-soluble sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)/styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBR) and non-aqueous polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF). The cPT binder exhibited high mobility of the ionic charge carriers due to the presence of PEO segments with high compatibility for electrolyte. Consequently, enhanced electrochemical performance was observed for the supercapacitors based on the carbon electrodes with cPT binders.
