In this work, we have prepared stimuli-responsive nanobeads with water-soluble monomer using water-in-oil (w/o) microemulsion method. Particle size was measured by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). We have also investigated size change as a function of temperature. When the temperature was increased, nanobeads were deswelled. Incorporation of functional materials such as fluorescent moiety, biomaterials and nanoparticles are also studied for potential application. |
