Preparation of stimuli-responsive hydrogel microfibers using microcapillary device |
초록 |
We have prepared hydrogel microfibers of uniform diameter with simple microcapillary device by alginate-templating method. Sodium alginate aqueous containing hydrogel monomers and crosslinkers was continuously injected in microcapillary by syringe pump, while calcium chloride aqueous was injected into other microcapillary. Calcium alginate microfibers were formed at mixing point of microcapillaries and then removed after gelation of monomers to make a hydrogel microfibers. Size of hydrogel microfibers could be controlled by capillary diameter and flow rate of sample solution. Hollow microfibers could be manufactured by changing injection position of the alginate solution. Stimuli responsibility of hydrogels microfibers was also studied in this work. |
