Transparent conducting graphene film prepared by alternative spray using positively and negatively charged graphene oxide |

Graphene-based transparent conductive films have been studied for a variety of applications such as field emission display, transparent electrodes, and the field effect transistors. Spray coating is a deposition technique that can be applied in industry due to low-cost and high-speed processing time. In this study, we developed multilayered graphene oxide (GO) film by alternative spray of positively and negatively charged GO solution followed by several reduction methods such as chemical and annealing reduction. Electrical conductivity, S and optical transmittance of the graphene films have been measured in terms of film thickness and reduction methods. We found that S has been improved by the alternative spray. We will present possible explanations for the improvement. The GO films were characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM), atomic force microscope (AFM), and Raman and UV- visible spectroscopy. |
