제목 | Novel silicone containing Hydrogels |
초록 | Hydrogels are cross-linked polymers that absorb many times their weight in water, which swell but do not dissolve when brought into contact with water. We prepared new silicone containing hydrogels and then evaluate physical properties of gels such as water content, contact angles, glass transition temperatures and etc. AIBN was used as a radical initiator. Hydrogels were prepared from various molar ratios of 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA), ethylene glycol dimethacrylate and silicone containing monomers at 110˚C, 30 min polymerization. Evaluating the water contents and swelling ratios of the hydrogels, we found that the content of silicone increased, water contents and swelling ratios decreased. In a preliminary test, silicone containing hydrogels exhibit better resistance to protein adsorption than that of HEMA based gel. |
