It has been recently studied that thin film behaviors differ appreciably from bulk behaviors because the interfacial interactions both at the substrate/polymer chains and polymer chains/air play an important role in the free energy balance. For the ultra-thin films of block copolymers, the interfacial interactions will influence remarkably on the phase behavior of block copolymers because interactions are getting more effective and then enough to alter the phase with decreasing thickness of thin films. In this study, We used scattering techniques, which especially have unique advantages because they allow the average structural information about large area of samples inside, providing scattering parameters such as peak intensity, width, and position. |
