제목 | Hydrogen Storage of Activated Carbon Fibers Prepared by Electrospinning Method |
초록 | Activated carbons, carbon nanofibers, and carbon nanotubes have all attracted considerable attention as potential hydrogen storage materials. Activation has been reported to have a beneficial effect on the hydrogen storage capacity of carbon materials. Electrospun carbon nanofibers were activated with KOH to attain a high surface area with porous structure, and to determine the beneficial effect on the hydrogen sorption capacities of increasing the surface area. In this work, the influences of KOH treatment on surface properties of electrospun carbon nanofibers were investigated in terms of FT-IR, SEM, XRD, and N2 adsorption isotherms. |
