제목 Polymer Photovoltaic Devices Based on Modified Active Layers of P3HT/PCBB System
초록 Photovoltaic deivces based on polymer:fullerene composites continue to be of interest as potential sources of renewable electrical energy. The efficiencies of polymer photovoltaics are mainly limited by low carrier mobility and short exciton diffusion lengths of polymers. The research on polymer photovoltaics in the last few years has resulted in significant improvement in the efficiencies nearer to 5 % and has shown the possibility of making them into practical applications. In this paper, we made an attempt to make photovoltaic devices with blends of poly(3-hexyl thiophene) (P3HT) and [6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid butyl ester (PCBB) by mixing polyglycol. Further, the active layer will be modified by generating metal particles in the active layer structures of P3HT/PCBB blend by mixing the metal salts dissolved polyglycol solutions prior to the spin-coating process. In preliminary experiments, we found an increase of photovoltaic properties of modified active layer devices.
