제목 3D Printed Soft Bioimplants and Biological Machinery
초록 3D printing has emerged as a promising tool to manufacture a series of implantable biomedical devices because it allows for controls of microstructure and properties in a bottom-up manner. As such, the resulting products present strong potentials to take the current quality of clinical diagnosis and treatments to the next level. In this context, my presentation will highlight a few of the 3D printed, bioactive hydrogel implants we have developed to control the spatial organization and directionality of blood vessels during regeneration. These hydrogels were further engineered to change their shapes for minimally invasive delivery. Lastly, we will briefly introduce the 3D printed biological machinery with autonomous locomotion capability driven by muscular contraction.
