제목 3D Printed Elastic Scaffold for Soft Tissue Regeneration
초록 3D printing has strong potential to fabricate customized scaffolds for tissue regeneration. Complex shaped porous scaffolds like a finger or a nose were successfully fabricated by an indirect 3D printing of poly (L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) (PLCL) which provides a high elasticity in soft tissue engineering. The samples were implanted into nude mice subcutaneously and harvested at 1 week and 4 weeks. Tissue regeneration was evaluated by histological analysis with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) and Masson’s trichrome (MT) staining. The images showed that a large number of cells were recruited into the scaffolds and collagen was deposited in the constructs. Additionally, angiogenesis and MSC recruiting was appeared in the constructs. Consequently, the results suggest that constructs of customized porous PLCL scaffold could be a good treatment modality to treat soft tissue defect.
