1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 has been reported to affect the differentiation of osteoblast. Calcium phosphate is well-known to have biological compatibility. We attempt to improve the osteointegration by mobilizing 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 within calcium phosphate. The expression levels of marker gene such as osteocalcin, osteopontin, osteonectin, alkaline phosphatase, TGF-β, and typeⅠ-collagen has been analyzed using PCR. According to the experimental results, the gene expression level varies in response to the presence of 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 within calcium phosphate. |
