제목 | Hydrolytic Stability and Adhesion Properties of Waterborne Polyurethanes |
초록 | In this experiment, a polyester polyol was synthesized using 2,4-diethyl-1,5-pentandiol, which has two ethyl groups as side chains for improving the hydrolytic stability and adhesion properties. A series of waterborne polyurethanes, based on 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate and 1,4-butanediol as hard segment (HS) and poly(tetramethylene adipate) glycol(PTAd) (Mn=4000), poly(2,4-diethyl-1,5-pentamethylene adipate) glycol(PDPAd), and 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate as soft segment (SS) and 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)butyric acid as a potential ionic center were synthesized. Copolymerization was carried out by varying the composition of PTAd and PDPAd, the molecular weight of PDPAd for the purpose of clarifying relationships between adhesion properties and hydrolytic stability of waterborne polyurethanes. Also, we compared emulsion blend with copolymer. Particle size, swelling ratio, contact angle, T-peel test, hydrolysis test, mechanical and dynamic mechanical thermal properties of the cast films were measured. |
