제목 In-situ Synthesis of CdTe/CdSe Core-Shell Quantum Dots and Their Shape Transformation
초록 Quantum dots are materials which show quantum confinement effects and have drawn to the variety of different applications including biomedical imaging, display devices, photovoltaics, and lasers. We will show type II core-shell quantum dots, CdTe/CdSe that made by wet chemical synthesis. During the shell formation process, the sphere-like CdTe core transform to a rectangular-like shape. The zinc blende structured core-shell quantum dots show better photo-stability than the cores, which should enable them to be used in biomedical imaging. We will demonstrate these materials by EDS, TEM, XPS.
