During the last two decades, solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) have attracted considerable attention because of their interesting physics and wide application potentials in high energy density batteries and electrochemical devices. However, there is a major drawback of relatively low ionic conductivity at room temperature. One approach to produce electrolytes that possess high conductivity and maintain sufficient performance is to prepare nanocomposite solid polymer electrolytes. Therefore, we have prepared nanocomposite solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) composed of PVDF, LiCF3SO3, and organo-clay as nanofiller. And we verified the effect of organo-clay on crystalline structure and ionic conduction properties with increasing these filler concentrations. Several techniques such as XRD, DSC, TEM and ac impedance were applied to characterize these samples. |
