제목 The Blending of Spherical and Cylindrical Block Copolymer Micelles on the Topographic Nanoscale Pre-pattern
초록 We studied the thin film of two different types of block copolymer micelles: spherical and cylindrical ones by spin and dip coating. Spherical polystyrene-block-poly-4vinylpyridine and cylindrical polystyrene-block-polyacrylic acid micelles were blended with different ratios. We also selectively synthesized Au nanoparticles reduced from hydrogen tetrachloroaurate and coordinated with P4VP block. The micro structures of the blended micelles were investigated with transmission electron microscope and atomic force microscope. The different types of micelles were clearly separated implying that PAA and P4VP blocks had no interaction with their electron affinity. The surface coverage of Au embedded in the P4VP core of micelles was controlled with blend ratios and no interdiffusion of Au into PAA cores occurred. Moreover, we prepared the thin blend film of the micelles on topographic pattern and examined the effect of the shape and size of the prepatterns on the alignment of each micelle.
