제목 Characterization of calcium phosphate-coated SiO2 particles
초록 It is well-known that SiO2 has an excellent biocompatibility. In this study, we investigated the possibility of calcium phosphate film formation on the SiO2 solid particles. We utilized the calcium the calcium phosphate film developed in our laboratory was formed on the surface of SiO2 particle. The variation of surface morphology dependent on treatment time was monitored using SEM. The chemical binding states of SiO2 were characterized using FT-IR. The electrical potentials of coated and noncoated SiO2 particles were characterized by Zeta potential measurements. The coated SiO2 particles displayed the decrease of negativity of surface charge.
