제목 Synthesis and Characteristics of ZnO Coated TiO2 Semiconducting Nanomaterials via a Simple Sonochemical Route
초록 Core-shell structured ZnO coated TiO2 semiconducting nanomaterials were synthesized in a basic aqueous solution through a simple hydrolyzing method carried by sonication. The powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy of the initial ZnO/TiO2 powder shows diffraction peaks corresponding to the ZnO and TiO2 phase and the uniform ZnO shell coated TiO2 surface as thin layers or nanoclusters, depending on the reactant concentration and the reaction time. The characteristics of the optical absorption were described by UV-visible absorption spectroscopy.
