제목 | Ion Activities of Polymer Membrane/Water Systems using Modified Perturbed-Hard -Sphere Chain Model and RPM in PEM Fuel Cell |
초록 | We investigate the ionic activity of the electrolyte by the modified perturbed- hard-sphere-chain(PHSC) model and restricted-primitive model(RPM). The perturbed-hard-sphere-chain model, where a chain molecule is modeled by a series of freely jointed tangent hard spheres as a reference system to account for some significant features of real fluids such as excluded volume-effects and chain connectivity. And attractive contributions are considered by the simplest type of Van der Waals attractive form as the perturbation term. The ion association is incorporated into the restricted-primitive model electrolyte to account for the strong attraction between unlike ions. In this study, we develop the ionic activity model based on the thermodynamic framework of both PHSC model and RPM. We calculate the ionic activity by PHSC model and RPM in PEM fuel cell. |
