Recently, polymeric gas barrier films have been successfully contending over traditional materials (glass, wood, metal, and ceramic) in the field of food packaging, liquid crystal displays, hydrogen storage, pharmaceuticals, and flexible electronics. In this work, we prepared graphene oxide(GO)/polymer films with gas permeability. The surface and structure of GO/polymer films were confirmed using a transmission electrical microscope (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), respectively. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements were used to investigate the interactions between GO and polymer matrix. The morphology changes of GO/polymer films were observed to analyze the enhancement of the mechanical and gas barrier properties. |
