제목 Controlled Cellular Interaction Using H-bonded Biodegradable Polyelectrolyte Multilayers
초록 Layer-by-Layer deposition (LbL) is a versatile technique whereby ultrathin films are assembled from the repetitive, sequential adsorption of oppositely charged polyelectrolytes from dilute aqueous solution. In previous study, polyacrylamide (PAAm) containing hydrogen-bonding driven multilayer films were stabilized and revealed an excellent bio-inert effect. The multilayers of PAAm with weak polyelectrolytes, such as poly(acrylic acid)(PAA) or poly(aspartic acid)(PASA) were investigated for their surface-cell interaction using 293 epithelial cells. H-bonded PAA and biodegradable PASA surfaces were determined as cell adhesion controllable surfaces. Micro-patterning of the cell-interactive polyelectrolytes was applied onto the H-bonded multilayer films. Cell-adhesive polypeptide linker was used to study specific cellular interactions onto tje film. Nanoparticle hybrid systems were also studied.
