Vinyl-type polynorbornene has good thermal stability, high optical transparency, and low dielectric constant, and thus is a very promising material for information technology. In this work, diverse norbornene derivatives are synthesized and polymerized as a vinyl-type by Pd catalyst, in order to improve the mechanical and adhesive properties. Moreover, polynorbonene derivatives are employed to prepared organic-inorganic polymer hybrids in order to increase the surface hardness and to decrease the thermal expansion coefficient. |
