제목 | Hydrogels Composed of Conducting Polymer and Semi-IPN/comb-type Graft Hydrogels |
초록 | Semi-IPN/Comb-type graft hydrogels showed the fast response to environment of the network structure, temperature and pH. Conducting Polymers have various fuctions such as chemical sensors, membranes and the conduction of plastic. Therefore, conducting polymer and hydrogel composite materials can be used in electrically stimulated controlled release devices or artificial muscles. We prepared alginate/PNIPAAm-NH2(Poly N-isopropylacrylamide-NH2)and conducting polymer, polyaniline (PANi). We compared the swelling ratios of Comb-type graft hydrogels and those of semi-IPN hydrogels under the different temperature. Then conducting polymer (PANi) was added in the hydrogel to control the rate of the response under the specific stimuli. Comb-type graft hydrogels showed faster response rate than semi-IPN hydrogels. Because alginate/PNIPAAm-NH2 had the carboxylic groups and ammonium groups in backbone chain, these hydrogels had pH-sensitivity. Conducting polymer/hydrogel composites could control the swelling ratio and kinetics. Also the swelling ratios of hydrogels with PANi were controlled by the weight ratio of PANi contained in hydrogels. |
