conducting polymers containing nitrogen or sulfur have been a good candidate for plastic electronics. They could be used as an electrode, a transporting layer, and electromagnetic shielding because of their high conductivity. However, polyaniline-based polymers, for example, have the low conductivity without doping showing ~10-8 S/cm of average conductivity. While upon doping, it incredible increased up to ~1000S/cm. Here, we want to introduce high conductive polymer which including nitrogen or sulfur on the aromatic rings. The energy bandgaps and conductivities of polymers can be tuned by copolymerization with other types of monomers. |
