제목 Effect of Atomic Charge Induced by Surface Oxygen on Carbon in Vitamin C Fuel Cell
초록 Effect of atomic charge induced by surface oxygen on carbon and activity of vitamin C electro-oxidation was studied. The vitamin C electro-oxidation activity and surface of as-received and acid-treated carbon were analyzed by eledtrochemical methods and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The activity of vitamin C electro-oxidation indicated improved performance as surface oxygen increases. Positive charged carbon in carbonyl and chemisorbed with oxygen could enhance activity toward vitamin C electro-oxidation because of promoting adsorption of negative charged reactants.
