제목 Enhanced PEC performances of the BiVO4/WO3 heterojunction photoanode with a g-C3N4 component
초록 Photoelectrochemical water splitting is getting more attention these days due to its renewable & green characteristics. Hydrogen and oxygen are obtained directly by the redox reaction under sunlight irradiation.Among many photocatalysts, BiVO4 is a good candidate since it has a good light harvesting characteristic. Synergistic effect occurs when WO3 is stacked on BiVO4 because it plays a role in transferring charges. We synthesized BiVO4/WO3 photoanodes using a spin-coating method with annealing steps. By adding a g-C3N4 powder to BiVO4 precursor solution, light harvesting property is much enhanced by modified morphology. With this effect, PEC performances (photocurrent density, IPCE, charge injection & separation efficiency) are much improved.
