Damage Sensing of CNT/p-DCPD Film Composites Using Electrical Resistance Measurement |

Damage sensing CNT/p-DCPD paper was made for the prediction of microcrack in construction structure. Generally, p-DCPD was rigid materials. Film type of rubber state p-DCPD was manufactured by first ring opening polymerization. Activity of molybdenum catalyst was reduced by ethanol during mixing between A and B DCPD solution. 0.5wt% CNT was added in DCPD resin to fabricate nanocomposites. Changed electrical resistance of CNT/p-DCPD film was analyzed to correlate tensile strength, elongation and changed electrical resistance. Damage sensing of CNT/p-DCPD film was measured to predict the micro-cracks in epoxy construction body.
