Thermal Stability of Epoxy Matrices under Different Temperature Condition by Mechanical and Interfacial Measurements |
초록 |
The interfacial properties of different matrices were evaluated under thermal aging test. Bisphenol-A epoxy and Novolac epoxy were used as composite matrix. IFSS and ILSS of glass fiber polymer composite were measured by microdroplet pull-out test and 3-point bending test at different temperature conditions. At high temperature and thermal aging conditions, the interfacial properties of bisphenol-A epoxy/glass fiber composite decreased significantly. However, novolac epoxy/glass fiber composite exhibited much better thermal stability at high temperature.
