제목 The optimum properties of glass fiber/epoxy composites with mixing proportion and plasma treatment
초록 The optimum mechanical properties of epoxy resin were obtained with different mixing proportion of two matrices. Novolac and isocyanate type epoxies were used as matrices. Glass transition temperature, pyrolysis temperature and mechanical properties of epoxy resins with different mixing proportion were measured by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), thermo gravimetry analysis(TGA) and universal testing machine(UTM). Furthermore, interfacial properties of glass fiber/epoxy composites were measured after plasma treatment on glass fiber. The optimum mixing proportion and plasma treatment time were evaluated to get the best mechanical and interfacial properties of glass fiber/epoxy composites.
