제목 Thermal Durability and Dispersion Evaluation of Carbon Fiber Reinforced CNT-epoxy Nanocomposites by Mechanical and Interfacial Measurements
초록 CNT-epoxy nanocomposites with uniform dispersion were fabricated for high temperature applications. Thermal durability of nanocomposites was investigated by mechanical test and interfacial evaluation. Dispersion of CNT nanofillers was improved by surface modification to obtain uniformly-dispersed nanocomposites, and the dispersion state was observed by electrical resistance measurement. Wettability measurements and microdroplet pull-out tests were performed for interfacial evaluation of carbon fiber reinforced CNT-epoxy nanocomposites. At high temperature, CNT-epoxy nanocomposites exhibited much better mechanical property than epoxy resin. Interfacial shear strength between single carbon fiber and CNT-epoxy nanocomposites also had better thermal durability due to the nanostructural resistance of carbon nanotube at interface.
