These days, make-up formulations (mainly W/O) are evolving to have sensory profiles of skin-care formulations (O/W). One of the key characteristics of well known skin-care cream is that they have high storage modulus (G’) compared to lotions or toners. In this study, we suggest a specific formulating ratio, which helps formulating a W/O emulsion with the characteristic of cream type O/W emulsions. All measurements were carried out in a rheological point of view. We believe this study can be applied to other cosmetic fields as well. |
