제목 Mechanical and thermal properties of Chitin butyrate/PEG/montmorillonite nanocomposites prepared through solvent intercalation process
초록 In the present study, Chitin butyrate/PEG/montmorillonite nanocomposites were prepared by solvent intercalation process. Three types of layered montmorillonites VIZ. cloisite 30B, cloisite 25A and cloisite Na+ were used as reinforcing phase andPEGwas used as plasticizer. The effects of plasticizer and clay type on the morphology, thermal and mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were investigatedby X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and dynamical mechanical analysis. The results revealed that the layered montmorillonites and plasticizer can significantly affect the physical, thermal and mechanical properties of chitin butyrate films.
