제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Multi-walled Carbon Nanotube / Poly(methyl methacrylate) Composites Prepared by in-situ Dispersion Polymerization
초록 Composites of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) were synthesized by in-situ dispersion polymerization. Prior to the synthesis, the MWNT was treated with a strong acid while the ultrasonic treatment was being applied to cut it. Formation of new C-C bond between MWNT and PMMA was confirmed by a FT-IR. Morphology of the synthesized PMMA in the presence of the MWNT of the MWNT/PMMA composite was examined by both SEM and TEM. The synthesized PMMA/MWNT composites were also characterized by zeta-potential measurement, TGA. [1] Park et al. Macromol. Rapid Commun. 24, 1070 (2003). [2] Sung et al.
