Carbon dioxide emission reduction for Korean refinery and petrochemicals |
| 초록 |
The oil refinery and petrochemical industry is in urgent need of the efforts to reduce carbon dioxide emission according to the Convention on Climate Change. Thus the efforts to decrease carbon dioxide emission should be made across the entire oil refinery and petrochemical industry including energy reduction and efficiency enhancement through recycling waste resources, changing the facilities, and improving the processes. This study made estimations of the effects on reducing carbon dioxide emission when applying new technologies into the oil refinery and petrochemical industry of Korea to increase productivity and cut down energy consumption. |
