Complex Based on PEG-TRIAL and Hyaluronic acid as a Potential Therapeutics for Cancer |

TRAIL (tumor necrosis factor [TNF]-related apoptosis-inducing ligand) has been considered as a promising therapeutic candidate for selective tumor cell apoptosis without toxicity. However, its application has been limited due to instability in an biological fluids. In this study, the therapeutic potential of the PEG-TRAIL/HA complexes was investigated. The in vitro cytotoxicity of the complexes was evaluated using the MTT assay. The pharmacokinetic parameters of PEG-TRAIL in the complexes were obtained by systemic administration of the complexes into the mice |
