제목 Pressure effect on weakly interacting block copolymer investigated by FTIR spectroscopy
초록 The transition temperatures of deuterated polystyrene-block-poly(n-pentyl methacrylate) copolymers with the closed-loop phase behavior are known to be very sensitive to hydrostatic pressure. To clarify the origin of the pressure dependence on transition temperature of a weakly interacting block copolymer, pressure-dependent Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra was obtained at various temperatures. It was found that the functional groups belonging to PnPMA block compared with PS block are much more sensitive to pressure. Interestingly, the functional groups sensitive to pressure are different from those sensitive to temperature.
