제목 New Approach to a Homogeneous Morphology for Highly Efficient Bulkheterojunction Polymer Solar Cells
초록 During the last decades, the bulkheterojucntion (BHJ) polymer solar cells (PSCs) have been intensively studied with the efficiencies of PSCs exceeding 6 %. Recently, however, it has been revealed that the performance of PSCs is also correlated to the morphology of components in the BHJ system and particularly the morphology which is obtained by a conventional casting method is not considered as an ideal system for achieving high efficiency: the conventional morphology causes the recombination of the generated charge carriers due to an energy barrier at the donor and acceptor interface, resulting in the reduction of a photovoltaic performance, such as fill factor and current density. Therefore, in order to achieve high efficiency of PSCs, a homogeneous morphology in the BHJ film should be required because the improved charge carrier transfer and the minimized recombination of the charge carriers is expected.
