제목 Reversible photo-mechanical switching behavior of azobenzene-containing electrospun PVdF nanofibers
초록 Azobenezene-containing PVdF-based nanofibers have been successfully fabricated by electrospinning technique. The morphology and thermal properties of the prepared samples were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), and TGA. In addition. the photomechanical switching behavior was investigated by thermal mechanical analyzer (TMA). The obtained nanofibers showed reversible deformation and exhibited high-speed response (2s) and recovery (2s) upon switching the UV-irradiation on and off. This photomechanical switching behavior is attributed to the decrease in the nanofiber's elasticity, which was assumed to be caused by the frequent trans-cis-trans cycling isomerization of azobenzene during the UV light irradiation.
