제목 Preparation of thermally stable poly(methyl methacrylate) by alkylmercaptan and ε-caprolactam binary initiation system
초록 Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is a transparent polymeric material possessing many excellent properties, such as light weight, chemical resistance, colorlessness, anti-scratch, and weathering corrosion. However, PMMA often generates a little gas due to low thermal stability, in the molder/extruder process, which often makes a severe defect at appearance of products. It was well known that that unsaturated end groups in PMMA cause a thermal degradation by unzipping mechanism in lower temperature(220℃~300℃) than that of main chain degradation by random scission.
