| 제목 | Characteristics of Electricity Generation and Wastewater Treatment Using Microbial Fuel Cell |
| 초록 | Microbial Fuel cell (MFC) can be used to generate electricity from various from of organic matter. Performance of MFC was evaluated to treat synthetic wastewater and actual sewage. The MFC gave COD and BOD removal efficiencies of 88.2% and 87%, respectively, and TKN removal efficiency was around 75~80%. Biomass granulation was observed in the anode compartment of MFC. When acetate was used as a carbon source, the maximum power density was 613.0 mW/m2(external resistance 100 Ω). |
