Preparation and properties of gelatin/chitosan scaffold for scar tissue repair |

These days, clean skin is considered as criteria of beauty. Hence drugs for prevention and management of scar tissue are under investigation. In this study, we prepared gelatin/chitosan scaffold(GCS) for scar tissue repair. The physical and chemical properties of the scaffold were analyzed using various analytical methods. The biocompatibility of the scaffold was also examined via cell assays. Our result illustrates that the prepared GCS improved the bioactivity of the scaffold. |
